Scott Fornaciari, Principal
Scott Fornaciari is the founder of Landarc Associates Inc., is a licensed landscape architect in California and a San Francisco native. Scott has over 20 years experience in the field of landscape architecture and holds a strong commitment to design excellence with attention to detail. His work for clients in the Carmel Valley, Marin County and Palm Desert has provided invaluable direction in designing premier home experiences. His ability to listen to clients and understand their project needs provides the service of both design excellence and buildable design documents. His work also includes campus planning and design, office and industrial facility planning, park planning on a small, medium and large scale such as the Yosemite National Park. Scott graduated from CPSU in Pomona, CA 1986 with a BS in Landscape Architecture.

Alissa Noguez, Principal
Alissa Noguez, Principal, is a California licensed landscape architect with 20 years of experience. She was born and raised in the South Bay Area in Northern California. She and her family also lived in Germany for 2 1/2 years and traveled Europe during her childhood. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA in 1985 with a BS in Landscape Architecture.

After gaining experience with other landscape architecture firms in the Bay Area, in 1994 she began ANLA, Inc. Landscape Architecture. During the first 12 years, she grew from a small home-based business to a four-person firm in the Willow Glen area of San Jose, specializing in public school work, commercial, and residential projects. Alissa is also experienced working in a design-build capacity with contractors on sport facilities and high-end residential design.

Alissa contributes her success to some of her unique qualities and hands-on experience. In designing schools and sport complexes, she draws from her experience in playing AYSO soccer and competing in AAU track and field for 10 years. Knowledge of baseball comes from years watching her brother and now volunteering with Little League for her son. Her construction experience in building retaining walls and installing concrete walkways with her father while growing up and installing new landscapes and irrigation systems at her home has given her valuable design skills in understanding construction materials and installation procedures. During the design process, she demonstrates the importance of investigating existing project site conditions and their impact on proposed uses and has developed a reputation for actively coordinating with clients and other project consultants to ensure the project evolves as necessary for a cohesive design including all the various disciplines involved. She follows up by staying committed to seeing projects completed through construction and maintenance.

In 2003 Landarc Associates relocated from Marin County to Mariposa, California near Yosemite National Park. We serve clients in the San Francisco bay area as well as the Central Valley of California.

In 2006, ANLA, Inc. merged with Landarc Associates to become Landarc Associates, Inc., with the main office in San Jose, CA, a satellite office in Mariposa, CA and in Simpsonville, SC.

We provide services including Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Site Planning, and Environmental Graphic Design.
